In WeezCrew, you can predefine and automatically assign a custom field value to all members who register through a specific team (for example, to automatically assign a company name, internal code, or specific status).
1. Purpose of This Feature
When members fill out a registration form linked to a team, this setting automatically populates a specific profile field without requiring applicants to enter the data themselves during registration.
2. Step-by-Step Configuration
Go to the Teams module.
Click to create a new team or edit an existing one.
Complete the standard general team details as usual.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the section Set Custom Field Value.
Select the Field: Choose the target custom field from the dropdown list (e.g., the Company field).
Enter the Automatic Value: Type the exact value to apply automatically to all members registering through this team (e.g., the partner organization's name).
Save the team settings.
3. Member Profile Outcome
As soon as a member completes registration through the link or form associated with that team, the predefined value is automatically recorded in the corresponding custom field on their profile.
