In WeezCrew, you can enable team registration within your forms. This feature allows volunteers or members who wish to participate together (friends, couples, groups) to link their registrations and share identical mission preferences and availabilities.
1. Enable Team Registration
Navigate to the Forms module and select the target form.
Go to the Settings section.
Check the option Allow members to register as a team.
2. Choose the Form Completion Mode
Two operating modes are available for members of the same team:
Copy Availabilities and Preferences from Team Manager:
The first member to register (Team Manager) enters their personal details, availability, and shift preferences.
Upon completing registration, a unique invitation link is generated for their teammates.
When teammates open the link, they only need to complete the first section (personal information)—their availability and shift preferences are automatically copied from the Team Manager.
Full Completion by Each Teammate:
If you choose not to copy preferences, each team member must fill out the entire form individually (personal details + availability + shift preferences).
3. Limit Maximum Team Size
To prevent oversized groups that are difficult to assign to the same time slot:
Set a maximum capacity per team in the form settings.
WeezCrew Recommendation: We recommend setting a limit of around 4 people per team to simplify schedule planning and ground assignments.
4. Customize the Teammate Invitation Email
At the end of registration, the Team Captain enters the email addresses of their friends to send them an invitation to join the team.
Email Template: This notification uses the standard automated template "Teammate Invitation".
Customization: You can edit the text body and styling to match your communication style.
Dynamic Variables Warning: Do not delete or alter the dynamic variables (automatic tag fields enclosed in brackets or braces) within the template, as they generate the unique team registration link.
