Choosing the preferred shifts for your members
Go to the Assignments module.
Click on the Assign members button.
The profile of the member to be assigned appears on the right, while all the shifts are displayed on the left.
Several types of time slots are offered:
Desired Slots: shifts that match both the member's preferences and their availability.
Alternative Slots: shifts that match only the member's availability.
Other Slots: all other shifts at the event, which do not match the member's preferences or availability.
Note: For an assignment that aligns with the volunteer’s expectations, prioritise shifts listed in the first category (Preferred slots).
