When volunteers or staff members register as a group, WeezCrew allows you to assign all group members to the same shift at once, ensuring they carry out their schedule together.
Two methods are available depending on your preferred workflow.
Method 1: Manual Assignment from the Members Module
Go to the Members module.
Select the individuals belonging to the group by checking their profiles.
Click Assign [X] Members, then Add Assignments.
Apply availability and preference filters to identify shifts compatible with all selected group members.
Method 2 (Recommended): The Dedicated "Assign Groups" Tool
For fast and efficient group scheduling across your event, the Assignments module offers a dedicated tool:
Go to the Assignments module.
Click Assign Groups .
Understand Proposed Time Slots:
Wished Slots: The system automatically matches shared availabilities and shift preferences across all group members.
Alternative Slots: Time slots where all teammates are available, even if it is not their top choice.
Another Slots: Time slots with scheduling conflicts or member indisponibilities.
Review Details: The right-hand panel displays individual summaries of each teammate's preferences and availabilities.
Confirm Bulk Assignment: Select the target time slot and click Assign Group. All group members are immediately assigned to the shift.
