How to Create and Manage Accreditation Profiles in WeezCrew

An accreditation profile allows you to associate a specific role or job function with a predefined set of accreditations and access zones.

In WeezCrew, an accreditation profile connects a specific job role or function with a predefined set of accreditations and access zones. It simplifies event access management by eliminating the need to manually reconfigure permissions for every staff member or vendor.

Step 1: Access Profile Creation

  1. From your organizer dashboard, go to the Accreditations module.

  2. Click on the Accreditation Profiles section.

  3. Click the Create an Accreditation Profile button.

Step 2: Set Up Profile Details

  • Profile Name: Enter the corresponding job role or function (e.g., Race Director, Physiotherapist, Red Cross).

  • Category: Group your profiles into categories to better organize your database (e.g., Staff, First Aid, Media, Reception).

  • Acronym (Optional): Add a short acronym for easy visual identification on the ground or on badges.

Step 3: Assign Zones and Access Rights

  1. From the list of available accreditations, check the zones this profile should have access to (e.g., for a Race Director → access to the Command Center/PCO, start area, all site zones, and staff parking).

  2. Save/confirm creation to record your profile.

Step 4: Duplicate an Existing Profile

To quickly create profiles with similar permissions without starting from scratch:

  1. Click the Duplicate button next to an existing profile (e.g., duplicate the Race Director profile).

  2. Rename the new profile (e.g., Physiotherapist).

  3. Adjust permissions as needed (e.g., keep everything except access to the media zone).

  4. Repeat the process to swiftly set up all profiles across your organization (e.g., duplicate again to create the Red Cross profile).
