Setting up website and conversion tracking

Website tracking lets you measure the impact of your campaigns and identify the sources generating the most conversions.

Setting up your website tracking

This setup lets you measure your website's traffic and identify the sources generating conversions.

There are two ways to activate tracking, depending on your website's setup.

With WordPress

If you use WordPress, go to “Profile” > “Preferences”, then access the “Gigz Tracking” section. Download the plugin, install it from the Extensions area of your

WordPress admin, then activate it.

Without WordPress

If you don't use WordPress, the integration can be done manually.

With a Meta pixel

If you already have a Meta pixel, start by going to the “Tracking” section to enter your pixel ID. Then go to “Gigz Tracking”, in the “Tracking Pixel” section, select the Meta pixel you added, then click “Generate a tracking pixel”.

Without a Meta pixel

If you don't have a Meta pixel, go directly to “Gigz Tracking”, "Tracking Pixel" section, then click “Generate a tracking pixel”.

Copy the generated code and add it to your website's HTML. It must be placed in the <head> section of each page, ideally right after the <title> tag. You can hand this off to your webmaster, or use Google Tag Manager.

Setting up the conversion pixel

The conversion pixel identifies the channels and sources that contributed to your customers' conversions.

To set it up, go to “Profile” > “Preferences” > “Gigz Tracking”, then “Conversion Pixel”. Select your ticketing platform (e.g. Weezevent), then click “Generate a conversion pixel”.

Then copy the generated code and send it to your Weezevent project manager, so they can add it to the purchase confirmation page across all your events.
